Welcome to the neighborhood!
Midway Hollow is home to good neighbors west of Midway Road, south of Walnut Hill Lane, east of Marsh Lane and north of Northwest Highway. Tree-lined streets, charming mid-20th-century-built homes, both ranch and modern, convenient shopping, neighborhood schools and an enviable, central location in the larger Dallas-Fort Worth area, make Midway Hollow a treasured neighborhood.
Midway Hollow is made up of approximately 2600 homes located in Northwest Dallas between Midway and Marsh and Walnut Hill and NW Highway.
Most homes were built in the early 1950s in the ranch and minimal traditionalist style. Several mid-century modern contemporary homes were also built.
Preservation Dallas included Midway Hollow on its 2007 list of Dallas' Most Endangered Historic Places due to recent teardown activity. For more information about Preservation Dallas, see their website at: http://www.preservationdallas.org/new_site/issues/mostEndangered-07.php

The Goal of the Neighbors of Midway Hollow:
In April 2007, a voluntary group of homeowners throughout Midway Hollow initiated a communication forum to discuss the impact of home demolition and new construction throughout the neighborhood. Because the dramatic pace of change was so evident, the concerned neighbors contacted City Hall and local preservation groups to see what could be done. Community meetings have been held to educate neighbors about what options we have to establish stricter standards for new construction and renovations to preserve the unique characteristics of Midway Hollow.
The goal of the Neighbors of Midway Hollow is to obtain conservation district ("CD") status for our neighborhood. Sixteen other neighborhoods in Dallas have already written CDs to enforce stricter zoning standards.
